I’m thankful for the people in my life who have offered me a place to stay and helped me out. But after a certain point, you start to wonder who’s helping who out more. You start to feel as though you get taken advantage of or overlooked.
I’ve had so much free time on my hands, I don’t even know what to do with myself right now. Why is it that we have the most time when we don’t have money to do anything?
Netflix and Hulu decided to draw money out of my account at the same time. I wasn’t even thinking, I would’ve been okay, but I spent $12 at Sunoco and with the $20 deducted on top of that? My $15 turned into -$57 after the overdraft fee was added in.
In a lot of ways, I feel like most of my life I’ve had nothing but setbacks. Goals for the future that were put off by someone else, or just never achieved. And you know what? It flat out sucks. Bad. Because the more setbacks in your life, the more you start to feel as if nothing is going to happen.
So how do you get past that feeling? How do you keep moving forward when everything is going wrong? Perseverance. Hope. Strength.
Just about everyone these days can be found using some type of social media. If you’re on WordPress, you’re using a form of social media. And then some of you are also using other platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram or Twitter, to advertise your website even more. In this day and age, it’s hard to not use it. However, like everything, there’s a such thing as too much.
It’s been so. fricking. cold. I can’t stand it. But, it is slightly warmer today, at a whopping -3 degrees right now – with no windchill to make it colder. By the end of the day it’s supposed to get in the 20’s, and next week is supposed to be up in the 30’s, 40’s and even 50’s. Talk about a heatwave after this frigid cold. Better get my shorts ready. Just kidding, I’m still going to be cold. But I am stoked. Let’s keep the frigid temperatures away for the rest of winter, please. I’m sick of wearing so many layers just to walk to work.
Let me start this post off by saying that I don’t believe in censoring. Maybe it’s because I grew up in a household where people never filtered their words, but I just don’t believe in it. There is a fine line between censoring out of respect, and just censoring because you think someone is going to be offended. Here’s a little pro tip: everyone is easily offended, it’s 2017. Scratch that, it’s 2018. In the 21st century, where we’ve progressed so much, we’ve also backtracked and with freedom of speech comes those who want to shout out that they are offended by everything.
1.) What would I look like as a blonde? I’ve never dyed my hair before, and I really wouldn’t want to bleach it blonde, but I’ve always wondered how weird I would look if I suddenly went from having dark brown hair to such a light color.
