We’re almost through the first 4 months of the year, and I thought now would be a good time to revisit my goals from New Year’s and check my progress on them. With my funk, I’ve kind of dropped back on a lot of my goals, but I’ve been working on getting myself back on my feet. So without further ado, my goals:
I’ve been at such a standstill the last couple of months when it comes to this blog, that I’ve forgotten how to just come up with a blog idea and write it out. Things are starting to look up, after all of this time.
So what exactly happened? Why did I stop blogging so much?
Alright guys, I missed a post. Again. I don’t have a valid reason for it other than I just didn’t feeling like making the post I had assigned myself. When I wrote the “Reasons I Love Blogging!” post the other day, it reminded me that I shouldn’t feel pressured into writing a post. This is, after all, a challenge for myself, and since it’s my challenge, I’ve decided to mix things up a little.
We’re rapidly approaching February, breezing right through the first month of the new year. Unbelievable really! I felt like I didn’t accomplish as much as I had wanted to this month, which really sucks, but it just gives me a push to get more done in February.
January has been flying right by. I swear, I’ve been saying this every month, but time really is flying. I’m not complaining, it brings me closer to Ray and closer to warm weather again, but it is crazy. Working 10 days in a row also makes time seem to go by faster, too. Maybe not while at work, but when you get home and you realize the day is already over.
Hey guys, this is going to be a real short post. I didn’t want to miss a day of blogging, but I am pushing my first post of January back to tomorrow. I’ll be posting two posts tomorrow instead. Stay tuned! Hope everyone had a great new year!
Honestly, December is about to end, and I couldn’t be happier. The holidays are just about over, and that means we’re in for a long winter (unfortunately – no, I’m not stoked about that). What I am stoked for, though, is to head back into saving money and focusing on my goals. This month I know I didn’t accomplish as much as I wanted to because of Christmas.
Time really is flying right by. Guys, we have less than 3 weeks before we’re in a new year. Crazy right? This time of year always flies right by, and honestly I’m just dragging feet because I want to see Ray and I can’t until New Year’s. Story of my life! But it’s been almost a month, so yes, time can keep flying by.
Another month down, one more to go. November wasn’t too bad, but I don’t think I accomplished as much as I had hoped to accomplish. The holidays tend to do that, not to mention my work schedule has been all over the place. But hey, we hired a new girl, and are hiring one more for weekends (because my manager said he hired her so I can spend weekends with Ray – legit only reason for that). I’m feeling a little more optimistic now, 2018 is going to be filled with some changes.
We’re already mid-November… HOW? Time has surely been flying by. Before too long it’s going to be Christmas. Wait… Thanksgiving is next week? See, I knew this would happen. As soon as Halloween is over, the holidays just sneak right up on you. 2018 is right around the corner. I’m so ready for the new year.
