The Liebster Award

I was nominated for this award by the lovely Priya! If you haven’t checked out her blog by now, please do! She has a lovely selection of her own writings and poetry, I love reading her work. Check out her blog here! She nominated me about a week ago, but I haven’t had time until now to write up this post.

  • Create a new post thanking the person who nominated you, link their blog and insert the award graphic.
  • Answer the questions provided to you, share a little bit about yourself.
  • Develop a new set of questions for your nominations to answer.
  • Nominate 10 others and share your post with them so they see it.

1) What is true love according to you?

For me, I believe true love is accepting someone for who they are completely. In their ugliest, rawest, purest form. Sticking by someone in their worst times, never giving up. Surviving through arguments and fights and finding a way to make it work, because that’s love. It’s not something you just give up on. You work at it, you find a way. Because if there’s a part of you that says it isn’t worth it, then you’re not ready to be in a committed relationship at all. True love is finding that person you want to marry, and spending the rest of your lives together. True love is rare, but it is out there.

2) Blogging is choice/ hobby/ passion/ profession?

Blogging is a mix of choice and hobby. But it’s also turning into a passion, because I simply love and adore the world I’ve found here. I never would have thought that I’d be finding myself again through the world of blogging.

3) One word for yourself?

4) Writing a poem or story? Which one is easy?

It depends! Poetry comes naturally to some, while others have an easier time writing stories. I tend to struggle more with poetry, I’m too detailed. So story telling is more up my alley. I actually would love to get myself back into writing stories again, but I’ve been struggling with motivation.

5) Love or money?

Love. But money does get you a certain stability in life that love can’t give you. At the same time, though, I wouldn’t want to be rich and have no one to love. So I pick love.

6) The best place on this earth? Even if you haven’t visited one what comes in your mind just reading the question.

Honestly, anywhere but here lol. Which may sound silly. There are so many places out there I haven’t had the chance to explore, so I can’t really pick a place, even if the question is open ended. There are just so many places, so much beauty in this world. I couldn’t simply narrow it down to just one.

7) What brings you here on WordPress?

I started a blog about five years ago on here with a few other bloggers. While we’ve drifted (the blog is still alive though!) I found love through writing my own stories and posts on my personal blog. I wanted a way to express myself, and just get my thoughts out there. And just to… talk. Write, motivate myself to delve deeper into who I am.

 8) A romantic or a horror movie?

Horror all the way. I enjoy a good sappy romance movie every now and then, but I’d rather watch a scary movie. Or a combination of both.

9) All time favourite book and a movie?

I struggle with these types of questions because I have so many!! So many titles to pick from, it’s damn near impossible to narrow it down. So I’ll say that my favorite book series has been The Women of the Otherworld by Kelley Armstrong. While it’s been a few years, I absolutely loved this series, I bought all 13 books. As far as movies go, it’s so hard to pick just one. But I’ll throw Requiem for a Dream out there, as I did pick it for one of my movie posts I wrote recently (here).

10) What are your thoughts about me? (Haha)😁😁

I think you’re a lovely person and writer! I really enjoy reading your poetry and posts, and you’re always so nice! One of my favorite bloggers on here (:

It was so hard narrowing down my nominations! By no means are you obligated to do this award if you do not wish or lack the time. I hope you do, I’d love to read your responses!

If you do decide to do this award, my questions for you are as followed:

1.) Who is someone you’re inspired by?
2.) How did you start blogging?
3.) If you could live through any decade, which decade would you want to live in, or relive?
4.) What do you see happening in the next 10 years on a global level?
5.) Favorite time of year?
6.) Do you, or have you, played video games? If so, which system and game are your favorite?
7.) Last movie that made you think?
8.) Favorite place to go? Or favorite place you have ever been?
9.) One wish, for anything, that you would make?
10.) Favorite thing about blogging on WordPress? Least favorite thing?

  1. Thank you for nominating me. Your answers for the questions were nice to read. Requiem for a Dream is such a sad movie. 😦 So many bad stuff happens to the characters and none of them have a happy ending. I agree about wanting to be anywhere except where I currently am.

  2. Thank you for nominating me!! ❤ ❤ Your definition of true love is beautiful. It is out there! I love that you used loyal as your one word–not a lot of people could say that about themselves and the thing is, I actually can believe that you are! I’ve never read the books by Kelley Armstrong but I’m curious to know what they’re about since you were able to get through 13 of them!!

Thanks again for nominating me–I can’t wait to your answer your questions!! 🙂

    1. You’re very welcome!! 💜 I was happy I could finally nominate you for something 😂 and thank you! And she writes in third person a lot so I’m not sure if you’d get into her books :p but they’re a supernatural romance series with some action lol! They actually made a tv show on SyFy based off the first book, Bitten, but I watched the first season and it went in such a drastically different direction lol. Like the wrong characters died the whole plot changed. Still haven’t watched the second season.

And you’re welcome! I can’t wait to read your answers ☺️💜
