Goals For November (#28)

It’s hard to believe that October is already coming to an end. I’ve gotta say, I’m actually stoked this month is finally over, because it’s been a long ass wait for me to see Ray, and I finally am seeing him this weekend. Makes me so happy to finally be through this patch.

Sadly, some of the goals I had for October (here and here), I failed to meet. I gave myself a photography challenge, which started off great, but ultimately I gave up on it. Not because I didn’t want to do it, but because I felt exhausted from work and lacked the motivation for it. Which sucked, my job worked me hard.

I had also wanted to write more creative posts, but like the photography challenge, I also failed with this as well. But no worries, I will get there eventually. I’m hoping November I’ll find some way to get the creativity juices flowing, but we will see. One of my topics for this month was to write a scary story and have my readers guess the ending. It was the one post I failed to do out of my challenge this month.

As far as personal goals go, I’ll get more into details with those in my Highs and Lows post coming up.

So, November, I have some plans. As I did with October, I plan on doing an entire monthly writing challenge. I really enjoy having something to write about everyday, and it gives me a reason to write as well. Ever since I started this blog up again in August, I’m still amazed at the amount of support I’ve found on this site. There are so many amazing individuals here, and you’ve all encouraged me to keep this blog alive and going. I love you all! As I love blogging.

So here are my writing goals for next month:

I gave myself more journal entry posts to do, every Friday. I figure that’d be a good time to sort of sum up the week and what’s been going on. I like writing those types of posts. I’m excited to start this challenge.

I also want to start up another photography challenge, but this time, in a much more simpler form. Instead of making myself have a project everyday, I’m going to give myself open-ended topics on a weekly basis. This is to give myself time to get pictures going, as well as giving myself the option of doing different takes on the topic.

Here’s my weekly photo challenge goals:

I don’t know what to expect this next month, I really don’t. But I’m excited to see what’s in store. I’m dreading the colder months, but the holidays are around the corner, and I’m hoping it’ll be a good year for them. It’s just crazy to think how close to the end of the year we are already. I’ll be making New Year’s goals before too long now.
