A Quote That Inspires Me (#18)

“You can choose to blame your circumstances on fate or bad luck or bad choices. Or you can fight back. Things aren’t always going to be fair in the real world. that’s just the way it is. But for the most part, you get what you give. The rest of your life is being shaped right now. With the dreams you chase, the choices you make, and the person you decide to be. The rest of your life is a long time. And the rest of your life starts right now.” – One Tree Hill

“It’s the oldest story in the world. One day you’re 17 and planning for someday. And then quietly, and without you ever really noticing, someday is today. And then someday is yesterday. And this is your life.” – One Tree Hill

There are so many quotes that inspire me everyday. I used these two quotes from One Tree Hill and honestly there are many more from that show alone. Somewhere in this room of mine I have a notebook of quotes from shows and movies that I just loved. There’s inspiration in everything, it just takes hearing something that you can relate to and you fall in love with. This show had so many great quotes, I wanted to write more than two. I could do a daily post everyday for a month of just inspirational quotes from One Tree Hill.

  1. Love these 2 quotes! Life is all about how you respond and react to events that happen to you. I never got a chance to watch this show, seems like it had tons of life lessons.

    1. Yes! I completely agree. It really is about that. And I honestly loved the show up until season 5 or 6, and then it kind of got a bit over dramatic. But there really are a lot of great quotes and lessons from it, which was something I loved.
