Speck Of Dust

It’s bizarre to think about how huge our planet is. They say we’ve only explored about 5% of our ocean. Then if you think about how much we have yet to explore outside of our planet. The Earth is just a dot in our solar system.

We’re just a speck of dust in the universe.

With that being said, everything just feels so minuscule. The world as we know it. What is life? When you think about your life, and your place in the universe. All of your problems. They’re nothing. We’re just this tiny thing in history.

If anything, it’s why people need to push aside their differences and learn to embrace this crazy thing called life. We’re an ant in the universe. Not even, we’re smaller than that.

Do you truly believe we’re the only form of life out there when you put it in that kind of context?

  1. I love this post.
I love when people point out how small we are compared to the WHOLE UNIVERSE. There is no way we are the only living things experience life.
Also, as far as putting our problems and our lives into perspective, I totally agree with you on that as well. Which is why I can’t live my life the way society expects me to. Instead of getting that 9-5 job after college, I’m going to travel the world and see everything I can. I’m going to live the way I want to, because at the end of the day, it probably doesn’t matter anyway.
Refreshing to see this thought process among the many beauty posts in my feed! xoxo

    1. Thank you! I completely agree with you. And honestly, do it! Life is too short to begin with, and why fall into society’s expectations if you can do something wild and crazy? There is so much more out there in this world to see and experience. And honestly, you’re right, at the end of the day it’s really nothing if you compare it to the fact we’re just a speck in the universe.
I’m glad you enjoyed reading 💜
