How is today the first day of October already? We have 3 months of the year left. That’s it. 2017, like every year before, why have you moved so fast? It’s like once you make it through winter, the rest of the time just goes by fast until you hit winter again. But I guess, in general, time, no matter what, flies by faster and faster as you get older. All the more to embrace the moment!
A few days ago, I made two posts. September: Highs and Lows, and Goals for October. Today marks the start of a new challenge, and I’ve challenged myself with both writing and photography. I’m already wondering why I did this to myself, it’s getting cold out and I spend a lot of time working. Luckily for me, my work schedule is finally getting a little normalcy back to it, and I’m hoping that with the exception of this upcoming weekend, I’ll be back to weekends off. I’ll find the time for these photos – that’s the challenge I’m a little more worried about.
On top of these challenges, I wanted to make a personal goal list, mostly for myself to motivate myself a little more.
October Personal Goals:
-locate my birth certificate
-get my permit
-renew my State ID
-go to my eye doctor, schedule an appointment and get new contacts
-help my mom get the house organized
-spend at least one weekend away with Ray
-read and review at least one story I have not read before on Wattpad
-update my resume
-apply for more jobs
I started to add more, but I don’t want to overdo it. There’s a possibility I may add to it later, but for now, I think this is a reasonable list to get done in the next 30 days.
Today’s writing challenge begins with: “Describe your day in one word.”
Today’s photo challenge begins with: “Fall leaves.”
Needless to say, I won’t be posting this until later on tonight, wish me luck!
