My First Celebrity Crush

With all these heavy posts I have been writing lately, here’s a breath of fresh air. I think I had a few crushes growing up, but the one that really stands out to me as being my first celebrity crush was: Jesse McCartney.

I loved the Backstreet Boys, never knew their names as a kid. I went through an Orlando Bloom phase. I went through a Viggo Mortensein phase – I think Lord of the Rings in general had a stellar cast. I went through a Tom Welling phase due to my obsession with Smallville. But Jesse McCartney was the first one I remember fangirling about. I tried to watch Summerland after I discovered him, but never had the chance to really watch it. And I remember when he guest starred on The Suite Life of Zack and Cody.

Actually, now that I’m thinking. He may not have been exactly the first. I remember watching Charmed religiously as a kid, and the guy who played Piper’s son from the future, Chris, was like the first guy I ever really thought was hot. Drew Fuller. What a hottie!

I can’t pinpoint it exactly, but I never was a big fangirly type of girl. I did have my crushes like any other kid though! Looking back, I can say my tastes have definitely matured with age.

Who was your first celebrity crush?

  1. Ohhh Jesse McCartney 😍😍😍 I was so in love with him too. I remember listening to his album on my CD player everywhere I went. He recently starred in the show Young & Hungry and he’s still a cutie! 😊

    And Tom from Smallville, YUMM!
